Business Development Manager, Asia Pacific - Military veterans preferred

Working Location: Kwai Hing, Hong Kong

Responsibility

• Work in the role of Business Development in Order Management Solutions (OMS) for the Asia Pacific region.
• Lead business development efforts and drive sales growth across the DHL solutions portfolio, including OMS, OCM, BCN, Control Tower in the Asia Pacific region
• Manage and grow the sales pipeline, securing new customers and expanding business
• Collaborate with country, regional, and global sales channels to maximize synergies and cohesive efforts
• Work with Business Solutions teams to develop the product and enhance DHL service offering
• Deliver strategic business development initiatives aligned with global Ocean Freight and OMS strategies
• Proactively pursue new business opportunities and innovative ideas
• Identify and develop new market segments with growth potential

Requirement

• Degree or above in Logistics/Supply Chain or business related
• 5 years or above relevant experience in logistics industry with expertise in exporting from Asia, consolidation, and ideally ocean & air freight
• Knowledge of Asia Pacific freight forwarding, supply chain, warehousing and logistics business practices
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese skills are advantageous
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of order management systems a plus
• More experience may be considered as Senior Manager
