Job Title: Manager – Finance (PTP)
Job Location: Budapest
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver top-quality service within the Finance – Procure to Pay (PTP) Service line, supporting our DGFF regions and countries globally. The role will involve managing PTP processes, collaborating with various stakeholders, resolving queries, maintaining data, monitoring, and actioning requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Process & Performance Management:
Be a Super User for PTP processes in various Finance systems applicable for PTP and in alignment with the Global Process SOP/Guidelines
Engage with Country Manager/Regional Champions and work collaboratively to carry out PTP initiatives
Dealing with adhoc requests which require an expertise from Vendor/Operations/Country
Review critical Vendor Accounts and liase with Vendors directly to address supplier payments on time
Liase with Operations to reduce Aged Payables
Review, research and resolve debit balances in AP ledger
Expediting Urgent Payment Requests and working collaboratively with Operations on approval etc
Work with Country & GSC to improve KPIs and performance
Ensure that the Country adheres to Internal Controls and associated evidencing
Focus on ensuring positive business impact of Finance within own area – country, region, etc. in scope
Build and sustain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (in country, region and global offices) to ensure PTP targets are met
Approve COD / Schedule Payment run / MEC tasks
Weekly connect with GSC team on performance review
Transformation
Manage PTP Transformation: Execute the New Workflow strategy for Country in co-ordination with Global Finance & Project Team
Create SOPs & E-Learning documents where required & train Country Users/Operations on need basis
Notify countries & users on the new functionalities or changes made in the tool or documents
Trouble shoot user challenges in systems and process and ensure that these are escalated & resolved
Digitalization
Having working experience in any of the automation tools or involved/ driven process automation projects
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor´s degree. A degree in accounting, financial management, ACCA qualification will be an advantage.
Should have been in PTP Delivery experience of 3-5 years
Experience in a Shared Services Centre preferred
Good interpersonal skills and team player
Understanding of accounting concepts and principles
Possess good analytical & problem-solving skills
Target oriented with strong focus
Flexible with work shift
Good Typing skills including Numpad (account specific)
Effective English communication skills, written and verbal
