Stock Verifier
Role Outline
The Stock Verifier ensures inventory accuracy at vendor locations by reconciling physical documents and system records, enforcing operational SOPs, and reporting discrepancies back to the customer
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for reconciliation of system stock with physical stock by location, ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis                                                                                                                                                                               Â
- Responsible for highlighting and escalating any deviations from SOPs and operational procedures                                                                                                                                                                           Â
- Responsible for effective stock count planning, execution, and timely resolution of discrepancies                                                                                                                                                                       Â
- Responsible for managing documentation, audits, and secure record keeping                                                                                                                                                                            Â
- Responsible for coordinating weekly / monthly stock counts in collaboration with the customer, ensuring proper documentation and timely closure of any discrepancies.                                                                                                                                                                                  Â
- Responsible for verification that all system transactions align accurately with supporting source documents.                                                                                                                                                                      Â
- Responsible for maintenance of proper filing and secure archiving of all operational source documents used for system updates                                                                                                                                                                             Â
- Responsible for monitoring inventory movements, develop tracking tools, and report warehouse errors                                                                                                                                                                               Â
- Responsible for investigation of stock variances or shrinkage and recommend corrective measures                                                                                                                                                                           .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Â
Qualifications & Experience                                                                                                                                                                          Â
- Bachelors in Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or related field                                                                                                                                                                                  Â
- 2–3 years’ experience in stock control, inventory verification, or warehouse operations                                                                                                                                                                                  Â
- Training in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, JDA, SAP) is an advantage                                                                                                                                                                          Â
- Exposure to customer-facing inventory environments and compliance protocols                                                                                                                                                                       Â
- Basic certification in inventory control or safety is a plus                                                                                                                                                                      Â
- Hands-on experience with cycle counts, system reconciliations, and audit preparation                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Â
