Senior Supervisor - Military veterans preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.


• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.


• Leading and supervising warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.


• Oversee Inbound and Outbound Operations. Ensuring timely and efficient movement of products in and out of the warehouse.


• Preparing reports on warehouse performance metrics, such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and labor productivity, and analyzing data to inform decision-making.


• Ensuring that warehouse operations meet customer service standards, addressing any issues related to order accuracy and delivery times.

Requirements

• A degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.


• Typically, 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management is required. With prior experience in a supervisory role.


• Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management practices.


• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.


• Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and other departments.


• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.


• Proficiency in using software related to inventory management and logistics.
