Job Purpose  

Contribute to design and ensure implementation of supply chain planning plans and processes to ensure capacity and inventory plans are established in conjunction with overall business plans and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies 

Major Job Responsibilities  

  • Develop/Improve new customer on boarding package and process, Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) review process and log book 
  • Develop strong customer relationship and oversee communications with existing and new customers, resolve consignee /vendor complains and enquiries and any other issues 
  • Continuously look into the core processes in customer business (PO management) operations  
  • Support implementation of lean initiatives from the Planning perspective to ensure the broad goal of overall supply chain is benefiting from the improvements 
  • Ensure implementation, monitoring and quality of key metrics. i.e. On-time delivery, inventory efficiency. Review the operational KPI score and data received from region, analyze data and give feedback to respective desk
  • Contribute to develop and implement business capacity planning process to forecast the capacity utilization and optimize the supply network  
  • Manage shipping lines/NVOCC and ensure an efficient process of customer’s shipment and ensure Container Freight Station (CFS) process is in compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) 
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets. 
  • Handle all claims relating to any shipment for finding out the fact for decision making. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum bachelor's degree from a reputable university is required? 
  • More than 8 years of experience preferably in Freight Forwarding 
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Ocean freight and Order Management Solutions processes and industry best practices 
  • Strong negotiation skill, interpersonal skill and problem-solving attitude 
  • Functional and analytical experience in Operations, Freight Management, Stakeholder Management 
  • High integrity with good work ethic.
