European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) officially started operations at Leipzig/Halle Airport in spring 2008 as an aircraft maintenance company and registered cargo airline. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DHL Group and belongs to the DHL Express division. In cooperation with DHL Air Austria and DHL Air UK Ltd., EAT covers the majority of the European DHL network.

A quick overview of EAT:
Data preparation and cleansing: Support in the collection, preparation, and cleansing of data from various sources
Report creation: Development of regular reports and dashboards to visualize analysis results and KPIs
Database management: Assistance in the maintenance and optimization of databases, including executing queries and data extractions
Process automation: Support in the development of scripts and data pipelines
Collaboration with departments: Close collaboration with other departments to understand data requirements and develop solutions
Documentation: Creation and maintenance of documentation related to data processes, standards, and policies
Motivated, enrolled student (m/f/d), ideally in the advanced stage of a university program in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field
Enthusiasm for aviation, analytics and digital transformation
Programming skills: Basic knowledge of Python, particularly in the Pandas and PySpark libraries is desirable
Database knowledge: Experience with SQL and Spark SQL / Databricks SQL
Excel skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VBA programming for process automation
Ideally, some experience in virtual teamwork
Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage
Strong analytical thinking ability
Independent and team-oriented working style
