Job Title: Expert – CDZ

Job Location:  Chennai

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver on learning agenda for the Customs service line. You will be responsible for supporting CDZ in terms of delivering trainings and addressing to all training administrative tasks within the timelines and quality parameters in line with overall business objectives and needs, and group guidelines.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & design content for training delivery
  • Update training curriculum as per the CDZ business guidelines
  • Manage CDZ training sessions, co-ordinate and administer tasks related to training
  • Engage, build relationships with stakeholders for product
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine what defines success i.e. the skills, knowledge and experiences required to drive business results and personal career growth for product
  • Ensure content is relevant and up to date to business requirements
  • Constant communication with Operations Managers, stakeholders to keep abreast with updates in the business
  • Deliver product training as per the calendar and business requirements
  • Prepare weekly calendar for product training
  • Promote product & process training agenda through various communications, calendars, promotions, etc.
  • Partner with business to support employee performance through buddy up.
  • Support product & process training team with training measurements
  • Prepare training reports
  • Document informed decisions on Designs and Solutions, for Internal or external stakeholders

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Graduate ( Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline )
  • Management Qualification ( preferable)
  • Minimum 5 years training experience, with a strong background in training and development
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, learning methodologies and small group dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Conduct training needs analysis
  • Design and update process training material
  • Review, evaluate and create follow-up methodologiesStrong sense of urgency and action focused
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, make recommendations and deliver results
  • Strong relationship management, consulting and influence skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Experience with large, complex training implementations is desired
  • MIS skills
  • Exceptional facilitation skills
