How You’ll Contribute as Warehouse Team Leader
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for leading our Putaway team within the Dock-to-Stock process. After materials have been processed in our system, your team ensures these items are physically placed in the correct BIN locations in the warehouse, adhering to safety and quality standards. This step is vital so that other departments can continue their processes and ultimately ship products to our customer on time and in full.
You’ll primarily work in the day shift, while leading a team that operates across two shifts to keep the operation running. Together with two fellow Team Leaders, you ensure smooth and efficient inbound processes, sharing information, aligning priorities, and solving challenges as one team. You’ll also work closely with the Stock Control and Outbound departments, actively collaborating to maintain high stock accuracy and boost overall operational performance. This means participating in daily meetings, sharing insights, and jointly driving process improvements to deliver the best possible service to our customer. Teamwork and open communication are at the heart of this role—you succeed not only through your own leadership, but by building strong connections and trust across all departments.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the Putaway operations and ensuring all materials are stored in the correct warehouse locations within required timeframes.
- Driving quality and efficiency in the Dock-to-Stock process.
- Coaching and training team members to perform tasks accurately and safely.
- Creating and maintaining clear work instructions and process documentation.
- Identifying process bottlenecks and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining close communication with Stock Control, Outbound, and other stakeholders to improve stock accuracy and process efficiency.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are always followed.
- Generating and analyzing reports that provide you with necessary information on performance trends.
Organizing and managing your team, including:
- Coaching team members, considering their ambitions and development.
- Conducting performance and appraisal meetings.
- Handling absence management and return-to-work interviews.
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Planning training hours, managing timekeeping, and maintaining personnel records.

- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level.
- At least two years of experience in logistics environment.
- Proficient English in written and verbal communication.
- Affinity with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Office 365, Teams, Power BI) and SAP ECC.
