Location: Regional business travel (Harlow and Rushden)

?WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Reporting to the General Manager, your role will hold full accountability for transport sites within your region (Harlow and Rushden) as well as strategic development of the Transport Network
• Accoutable for performance (KPI, Cost, Safety, Service, People) of the transport operation
• Manage and develop transport network within region and integrate nationally, to optimise cost and unlock synergies
• Investigate / implement DHL initiatives and syneries through the Transport division to drive value for the Customer and DHL
• Developing a high performing team including succession planning, performance management, leadership capabilities and behaviours, management actions
• Ensure effective communication processes are established and maintained for both internal/external customers
• Stakeholder management of key relationships (Customer, Contractors, Trade Union, Suppliers etc)

?WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Previous Transport Operations experience, at Regional or larger operational level is essential
• International CPC is essential
• O License holder (or willing to work towards) is essential
• Budget management and cost controls
• Knowledge of transport planning, forecasting, regulations
• Excellent communicator across all levels
• Presentation skills - Able to articulate KPI's/data
• Ability to balance conflicting priorities
