We are currently hiring a Global Quality ControlCenter Specialist at the CVG Erlanger, KY Hub. The Global Quality ControlCenter Specialist will perform real-time shipment monitoring and management to identify potential shipment failures, apply established diagnostic processes to identify root causes and work with the Network to resolve any found issues. Successful candidates will be fast learners, action oriented, goal driven and above all, support their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform real-time shipment monitoring and management to identify potential shipment failures.
  • Apply established diagnostic processes to identify root causes and work with the Network to resolve the roadblocks.
  • Escalate un-resolved issues to QCC Head on a timely basis for further action.
  • Catalogue and review service failure cases with QCC Head to identify reoccurring issues.
  • Identify and communicate any internal gaps within the QCC monitoring environment to QCC Head for remedial action at the end of every shift.
  • Liaise with operations to activate contingencies, provide follow up, and feedback to stakeholders on resolution.
  • Activate contingencies as needed by relocating shipments in operations from one location to another, within the DHL Express CVG HUB campus, handle freight to Same Day drivers, scanning shipments, when flights/trucks are delayed to ensure a smooth operation for our premium product.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • BS/BA preferred and/or 2 years previous experience in logistics field
  • Relevant working experience in Operations or Customer Service is preferred
  • DHL Operation, DHL Network and DHL Global SOP expertise
  • Strong ability to learn software and computer programs quickly with strong proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of Powerpoint is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DHL Systems: AQCC / eCase Management / OCNT / Sherloc / NMIV / DCE / CALMS / SPARK / ECIS / CVG Ramp Tool / RUM / RCIR / RCTS / DCVS / VISTA is a plus
  • Ability to work rotational shifts
  • Bilingual - with English, Portugueseand Spanish is a plus
