First Division Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Master Network Specialist (Local IT Support Lead) to support the United States Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG) in executing technical, engineering, operations, maintenance, and management functions for the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) in Quantico, VA. The MCEN supports over 200,000 users across more than 30 bases, posts, and stations, as well as deployed locations worldwide. This role is critical to ensuring the security, resilience, and performance of global network operations and defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of senior IT technicians in the local network environment, ensuring high standards of technical support and operational readiness.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPN devices, and enterprise virtual server environments.
  • Monitor and manage network capacity, performance, and security for both NIPRNET and SIPRNET tier 2 and 3 boundaries, ensuring compliance with MCCOG policies and procedures.
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity principles and risk management processes to maintain a defensible and survivable network.
  • Coordinate with MCCOG leadership and other stakeholders to integrate new systems, optimize network architecture, and support both distributed operations and enterprise business functions.
  • Develop and implement network backup, recovery, and contingency plans, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid restoration of services.
  • Maintain documentation, provide technical guidance, and deliver feedback on network requirements and improvements.
