Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a talented and innovative Operations Support Specialist to join our team at our The Dalles, OR facilities. We operate two cherry processing facilities in The Dalles, Oregon, equipped with advanced technology to handle large volumes while keeping quality front and center. Pay Rate: $24 to $26.50 per hour. The candidate’s pay will be determined within this range, based on their experience and skills. This is a full-time, on-site role at our production facility in The Dalles, OR.

 

As an HR & Operations Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly across our production floor and admin functions. Most of your time will be spent supporting inventory, pack-out, and shipping tasks—but you’ll also jump in to help with scheduling, timecards, and other HR-related duties.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile daily pack-out and shipping documentation for accuracy.
  • Help facilitate internal and customer shipments ensuring proper documentation and lot accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track product movement, input material usages and assist with label and material needs.
  • Conduct regular audits on finished goods and raw material counts; adjust records as needed.
  • Support damage prevention efforts and assist with organization of storage areas, including yard and finished goods locations.
  • Assist in maintaining operational reports and help identify discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • Ensure procedures follow food safety and quality standards (SQF, GMP, etc.).
  • Assist with production crew scheduling, timecard tracking, and attendance reporting.
  • Perform basic payroll reconciliation tasks and ensure time entries are accurate.
  • Provide general administrative support to both Operations and HR (filing, document tracking, internal communications, etc.).
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and business information.
  • Support onboarding and training coordination as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an operations, logistics, HR or administrative support role.
  • Prior experience with inventory systems or HRIS/payroll platforms preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and documentation.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
