The pay for this role is $20.79 per hour.

About the role:

Provide member service support regarding deposit accounts and products including, but not limited to, IRAs, HSAs, CESAs, share certificates, deceased accounts, and safe deposit boxes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to member and employee inquiries regarding deposit accounts and processes through a dedicated assist line, ticketing platform, and email.
  • Process transactions and necessary file maintenance on deposit accounts. Research encoding errors and process necessary corrections.
  • Process IRA transfers to or from other financial providers. Receive and process incoming and outgoing IRA rollovers.
  • Perform research for court ordered requests/subpoenas, IRS and other legal documents to provide to appropriate department.
  • Review ATM deposits to ensure holds are properly placed and work exceptions items as needed. Review Remote Deposit Capture for exception and adjustment needs.
  • Monitor collected safe deposit box contents to ensure timely remittance of unclaimed property to appropriate state.
  • Serve as back up to the Transaction Specialist as assigned by department manager.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • A high school degree or equivalent.
  • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically, it includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
  • Routinely perform tasks in a shared work environment with minimal distractions. 
  • Perform tasks effectively both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Perform responsibilities with composure under stress of deadlines and requirements.
  • Effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. 
  • Strong member service focus, attention to detail and accuracy, and communication skills both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to utilize knowledge and resources to effectively problem solve and make sound decisions. 
  • Prioritize tasks and organize workflows to support effective time management. 
  • Ability to work occasional weekends.
