Job Summary

Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Additionally, all team members may be called upon to support proposal efforts as needed. This could include resume formatting, providing skills alignment summaries, participating in meetings, or contributing to solutioning activities based on subject matter expertise or functional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
  • Coordinate subcontract procurement activities and ensure compliance and consistent policy implementation for subcontracts and task orders
  • Monitor and manage subcontract workshare, implement staffing requirements including replacement guidelines and manage subcontractor within allocated budget constraints
  • Provide management oversight of vendor agreements, negotiation, compliance, and issue resolution, as necessary
  • Manage Non-Disclosure Agreements and Negotiate Teaming Agreements
  • Effective team player willing to accept ad hoc assignments and take ownership of projects and tasks
  • Manage and maintain all insurance policies including corporate and general policies
  • Coordinate with the subcontractor's insurance certificate compliance including maintaining annual certificate of insurance (COIs)
  • Assist with coordinating and preparing legal responses related to contracts
  • Assist with company novation, annual compliance related to GSA Schedules and GSA sales reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or Economics (or a related field)
  • A minimum of 7 years diversified experience and progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Experience in all aspects of procurement
  • Must be highly familiar with FAR and DFAR clauses for subcontracts, and able to provide guidance and feedback on Teaming Agreements, and Individual Contractors
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
  • Ability to manage workload and project objectives within designated constraints and timelines
  • Advance level skills for SharePoint including access management, maintaining SharePoint document repository
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience working directly with GSA Contracting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret (active Secret required)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and at client or corporate office locations as needed. The employee is expected to maintain a professional remote work environment with reliable internet access and the ability to participate in virtual meetings. Onsite work may involve a traditional office setting with standard office equipment and moderate noise levels. Travel to client or corporate locations will be communicated in advance.

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computer equipment and communicate via phone or video.
    • Ability to move about office spaces and attend in-person meetings when onsite.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel Requirement

This is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and at designated client or corporate locations, as needed. Travel requirements may vary depending on project assignments, client meetings, or internal collaboration and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
