Responsibilities:

• Performs duties responsible for setting up, and operating a machine to run continuously throughout a work shift.
• Inspects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisor to meet requirements.
• Maintain production log of work shift.
• Keep records of approved and defective materials for review and inspection.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulation.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have command of the English language- both written and spoken.
• Must be able to read and interpret proofs, use simple math, and basic handheld measuring tools.
• The willingness to learn and improve.
• Ability to be a team player since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers.
• Physical requirements; must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.; regularly required to sit or stand, reach,and move about the facility
