Are you a strategic thinker who builds strong partnerships and drives business results? We’re looking for a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. In this role, you’ll guide teams through change, navigate complex challenges, and promote talent strategies that support business goals. You’ll take a process-oriented approach, applying practical, people-centered solutions and using data to drive sustainable growth. Success in this role requires strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $125,510.00 – $181,745.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $105,358.00 - $152,564.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Advise and support leaders on complex Human Resources challenges to align talent, performance, engagement, and compliance with business goals.
  • Performance and Engagement: Lead the implementation of performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement strategies to build team capability and drive results.
  • Coaching and Development: Partner with managers and senior leaders to build strong team dynamics, enhance leadership, and support organizational health while fostering inclusivity, open dialogue, and adaptability across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Talent, Workforce Solutions, Communications, and Compensation teams to implement HR programs that drive consistency and impact.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the HR Business Partner team, aligning work to priorities while fostering growth and development.
  • Change Leadership: Lead or support change efforts including restructures, engagement programs, and transformation projects with empathy and clarity.
  • Employee Relations: Resolve complex employee relations issues and reduce risk through thoughtful, compliant solutions.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage workforce data, benchmarking, and research to inform people strategies and guide decision-making.

Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

  • BA in Business, Human Resources or equivalent and 8+ years of Human Resource Business Partner experience including direct support of VPs
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading teams.
  • 4+ years experience serving as a trusted strategic consultant for executive leadership team
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or other HR professional certification (SPHR, sHRBP) preferred.
  • Strong HR expertise across benefits and compensation, workforce planning, org design, employee relations, DEI, performance management, leadership development, coaching, and employment law compliance.
  • Proven ability to interpret HR and workforce data to inform strategy and guide decision-making.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and the ability to navigate shifting priorities with flexibility and empathy.
  • Experience scaling organizations due to growth, including people processes, policies and leadership capabilities.
