ATA Services, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist I to join our team in support of the State of Vermont’s essential health programs—including Medicaid, VPHARM, and Vermont Health Connect. Location: Vermont (Remote/On-site options may vary)
Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $23.76

What You’ll Do:

As a VHSSI, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring Vermonters get the healthcare coverage they need. Your day-to-day will include:

• Reviewing and entering applications for healthcare programs
• Determining eligibility and processing enrollments and plan selections
• Handling life changes and updates with precision and care
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies in healthcare profiles
• Reconciling data across systems to ensure everything aligns
• Providing excellent customer service and outreach when needed
• Navigating multiple systems and work queues with ease

What You Bring:

• Experience using Microsoft Word and SharePoint
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to follow complex job aids and instructions
• Comfort working across multiple systems/interfaces
• A solid understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations—and the ability to explain them clearly
