Campbell Ewald is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to maintain and enhance websites built with Next.js. This role involves working with a modern tech stack and requires a strong understanding of both frontend and backend development practices. The role requires someone who can work with modern web technologies and maintain a complex enterprise-level website. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with both frontend and backend technologies, as well as various third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the existing Next.js-based public website
  • Implement new features and improvements while maintaining code quality
  • Debug and resolve technical issues across the application
  • Collaborate with the team on technical decisions and architecture
  • Ensure proper testing and documentation of new features
  • Work with ContentStack CMS for content management
  • Optimize website performance and user experience
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with enterprise-level applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React
  • Experience with Next.js (13+) and modern React patterns
  • Understanding of GraphQL and REST APIs
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (specifically ContentStack)
  • Knowledge of modern frontend build tools and development workflows
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Vitest)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Experience with Netlify deployment and serverless functions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Storybook for component development
  • Knowledge of Algolia search integration
  • Experience with Brightcove video integration
  • Understanding of Uniform.dev for personalization
  • Experience with SASS/SCSS styling
