About the PositionÂ
Were seeking Document Control Specialists to support large, heavy-civil infrastructure programsincluding highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and airport projects delivered through both traditional and alternative methods. These roles focus on managing the flow, accuracy, and organization of project documentation across all project phases. Â

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:Â
- Maintain and organize project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility.Â
- Implement document control procedures in alignment with stakeholder standards and industry best practices.Â
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and internal policies.Â
- Track and manage document revisions, approvals, and distribution across project stakeholders.Â
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper document flow.Â
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders regarding document updates.Â
- Provide training and guidance on document control processes to project personnel.Â
- Utilize enterprise document management systems to store and retrieve project records.Â
- Ensure proper indexing and metadata tagging for efficient document retrieval.Â
- Support audits and inspections by maintaining organized and accessible records.Â
- Generate reports on document status, approvals, and outstanding actions.Â
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure document integrity and compliance with project requirements.Â
- Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and project closeout.Â
- When serving as the sole document control resource on a project, may also support meeting agenda preparation, minutes, and other administrative tasks as needed. Â

Minimum QualificationsÂ
- Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, project management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
- 5+ years of hands-on document controls or similar experience on large (>$500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects.Â
- Experience working with a variety of construction and project-related documents, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence. Â
- Familiarity with ISO-based document control standards, guidelines, and best practices.Â
- Proficiency with industry standard enterprise document control systems and version control (e.g., SharePoint, e-Builder, Procore, Aconex, Asite, etc.)Â Â
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Master's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or project management. Â
- Experience with large (>$500M), complex, heavy-civil highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and/or airport projects.Â
- Experience in multiple phases of the project lifecycle (e.g., predesign, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction). Â
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other dashboard KPI reporting software.Â
Compensation DetailsÂ
The salary range listed for this role is $83k-$114k/year ($40-$55/hour). Please do not let our salary range deter you from applying if you are interested in the role.
