Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 ***Contingent Upon Contract Award***

Position Summary:

This full-time, onsite position at Vandenberg SFB, CA, supports Delta 1 training reviews and recommendations for improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific functions of this role include:

  • Conducting semi-annual reviews of all Delta 1 squadron syllabi to ensure the Delta 1 curriculum captures an evolving design. This design should demonstrate growth and progress from Basic Military Training and Undergraduate Space Training to Advanced Space Training.
  • Providing recommendations to address any training discrepancies or deficiencies and enhance future courseware development for governmental consideration.
  • Supporting Delta 1 squadrons to integrate their workflows across the Delta and develop and enhance workflow oversight to squadron-level operations.
  • Assisting with squadron duties such as the development of curriculum, responses to Delta taskers from the Task Management Tool, and the development of new training courses.
  • Supporting Delta 1 squadrons for Operational Orders issued from the Delta level or higher.
  • Engaging with squadrons to coordinate solutions for Operational Orders or other taskers.
  • Assisting with current and future operations tasks to develop strategies for improvement across Delta 1 operations.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree is desired.
  • Three years of military training experience desired, preferably associated with Space Force Delta 1.
  • Experience with military training curriculum execution, development, and review.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, collaboratively, and respectfully with people inside and outside the organization to achieve mission goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a background check to facilitate base access successfully.

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
    • Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
    • Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds.

    Work Environment:

    • This position requires work to be performed onsite at Vandenberg SFB, CA.
    • Indoor office working conditions.
