Extended Coverage Represenative - Military veterans preferred

*The schedules for these positions are Sat-Mon 0700-1900 and Wed-Fri alternating Sat 1700-0500 *

As an Extended Coverage Representative, you will be helping customers move their inventory by identifying and providing logistics solutions. You will be managing existing customer accounts, negotiating rates based on market trends, identifying, and resolving issues. Responsibilities

• Proactive and diligent execution of on-time tracking and tracing for all shipments in transit.
• Disseminate relevant and accurate tracking updates to internal team members.
• Continuous maintenance of internal and external platforms with updated shipment details as required.
• Communicate with drivers and carriers load requirements and details to ensure a successful lifecycle from dispatch to delivery with little to no issues.
• Field any and all inquiries from customers and/or carriers regarding the status of a specific shipment.
• Gather driver information and perform check calls as needed (i.e Dispatch, pick up/arrival, pickup/depart, in-transit, cosignee/arrival, cosigness/depart).
• Update tracking information in shipments.
• Track and update location, dwell time, and monitor utilization for our customers that require trailer pool management.

• Fast-paced and able to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence.
• Skilled in negotiation strategy.
• Ability to work as a team or independently.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on multiple projects at once.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years' experience in Carrier Sales or Carrier Management preferred.

• Pay Range: $40,000.63-$62,120.37
