HunaTek is seeking a skilled and motivated Research/Capture Analyst professional.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development strategies and executing plans tailored to the assigned account. Your key duties will include identifying and pursuing new opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
To ensure that HunaTek remains competitive, you will conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, analyze competitors, and discover potential areas for business expansion. Collaboration with internal teams and our partners will be vital to develop tailored solutions and proposals that align with client needs and requirements.
Staying informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities that may impact growth prospects will be part of your ongoing responsibilities. This is an ideal position for someone used to being involved every step of the BD process, from initial research to contract end. There is also great potential for upward mobility within the company as HunaTek continues to expand its footprint in the government contracting space.
Research upcoming Federal IDIQ's/GWAC Usage, Maintain Awareness of Industry Trends and Best Practices, Supporting Business Development and Proposal Team, Responsible for compliance of C2P opportunity Pipeline, Develop and execute strategic capture plans, Conduct competitive analysis, Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across organization, Proactive approach seeking out opportunities before RFP release, Focus on shaping opportunities, Effectively communicate industry insights in support of internal decision-making and proposal development, builds trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- 5 plus years of progressive experience in developing and managing a pipeline of business from opportunity identification to capture in the federal government contracting environment.
- Ability to identify and capture new federal government business through pursuit of direct, sole-source, set-aside, and open competition awards.
- Proficiency in standard business applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated success in closing high-value contracts and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- A collaborative leader and team player with the ability to rally cross-functional support for business development initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels effectively.
- Bachelors degree.
