Salary Range: $50,000-$54,000 ***Contingent Upon Contract Award***

Position Summary:

This full-time, on-site position provides administrative support to Delta 1 training students, administrative programs, and ancillary programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific functions of this role include:

  • Supporting Host Tenant Support Agreement meetings.
  • Managing Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs).
  • Drafting memos and updates as needed for Government review and approval.
  • Processing and maintaining accurate Delta 1 unit promotion rosters.
  • Managing personnel recognition programs to include quarterly/annual awards, and any special trophies, awards, and decorations.
  • Maintaining awards tracking by unit and personnel for the historical record.
  • Managing the Task Management Tool (TMT) used to task units across the Space Force and STARCOM.
  • Ensuring Task distribution to the 5 Delta Squadrons and tracking task completion according to the TMT Task deadline with government review/approval.
  • Maintaining an electronic file structure that supports all Delta 1administrative functions and programs.

Qualifications:

  • A high school degree is required. An associate's degree is preferred.
  • General administrative experience, with a focus on attention to detail, is desired.
  • Experience working in a military environment is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks across a broad group of stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the capability of facilitating, briefing, speaking, and writing compelling papers/products.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, collaboratively, and respectfully with people inside and outside the organization to achieve mission goals.
  • Knowledge of record management best practices and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check to facilitate base access.

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
    • Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
    • Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds.

    Work Environment:

    • This position requires work to be performed onsite at Vandenberg SFB, CA.
    • Indoor office working conditions.
