Title: Adjunct Instructor, Radiologic Technology

Unit: DCE adjunct faculty

Department: Health Division, Radiologic Technology Department

Reports to: Department Chair of Radiologic Technology

Date: July 11, 2025

General Summary: Middlesex Community College seeks to fill a part-time Radiologic Technology clinical faculty position beginning the Fall 2025 semester. The College's part-time Radiologic Technology Faculty are knowledgeable and creative professionals who have a demonstrated commitment to working with the College's diverse students and community.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide clinical instruction for a group of up to 5 students in a clinic session. Clinical instruction involves providing mentorship, supervision, and instruction to students as they provide patient care during Radiologic Technology procedures during their clinical sessions.
  • Provide ongoing interactive formative feedback and competency evaluations of student progress during each clinical experience.
  • Document feedback and evaluation of students comprehensively and in a timely manner to ensure students are constantly apprised of their progress and need for development.
  • Maintain currency in Radiologic Technology, clinical teaching and educational methodology, and Radiologic Technology education through participation in continuing education and professional development.
  • Utilize assessment data to improve teaching performance as evidenced by the evaluation process.
  • Demonstrate professional knowledge, skills, attitudes, and standards of conduct at the college, classroom, and clinic setting with patients, students, and colleagues.
  • Implement all Radiologic Technology program policies as well as applicable college policies and demonstrate ethical and professional behavior.


Job Requirements:
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts.
    Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 years of experience working in the clinical department of Radiologic Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and/or previous teaching experience
  • Bilingual Skills a plus


Additional Information:

Salary Range: DCE adjunct faculty are paid in accordance with the DCE salary step chart

Location: Lowell and Bedford campuses as needed

Hours: Schedule to be determined upon hire

Expected Start Date: Fall 2025 semester
