Overview

As a Custodian Ambassador at Velociti Services, you will serve as a frontline representative of our commitment to cleanliness, safety, and superior service—both indoors and outdoors. This role includes standard custodial and janitorial duties along with exterior maintenance tasks such as pressure washing, exterior trash removal, and maintaining entryways and common outdoor areas. Your work helps create a welcoming and safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Success Criteria:

• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and guidelines

• Work collaboratively with team members and support staff

• Keep assigned areas—interior and exterior—clean and well-maintained

• Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Take direction from leadership and respond professionally to feedback

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and clients

• Provide coverage during staff shortages and emergencies

• Support team leads by completing daily punch-list items

• Present a professional appearance and customer-focused attitude

• Understand and demonstrate principles of customer service and satisfaction

• Utilize reporting systems effectively

• Earn trust through dependable, honest work

Interior Services:

• Vacuuming and floor edging

• Dusting and wiping surfaces

• Cleaning and restocking restrooms and breakrooms

• Sweeping and mopping floors

• Window and glass cleaning

• Emptying trash and transporting waste to proper disposal areas

Exterior Services:

• Pressure washing building exteriors, sidewalks, and entryways

• Cleaning exterior windows, doors, and glass panels

• Removing debris and emptying outdoor trash receptacles

• Sweeping sidewalks and maintaining outdoor common areas

• Reporting hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors

Other Duties:

• Perform other related custodial or ambassadorial duties as assigned

Collaboration and Influence:

• Maintain a strong commitment to guest experience and customer satisfaction

• Keep safety at the forefront of every task

• Build and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and clients

• Follow leadership direction from Cleaning Leads, Supervisors, or Managers

• Coordinate with other departments to support client needs

• Actively engage in team meetings and improvement initiatives

Physical Requirements:

Applicants for this role must be able to:

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Standing for extended periods of time
