Responsibilities

  • Post daily cash receipts from clients accurately and timely within Deltek Vantagepoint
  • Collaborate with clients and work cross-functionally with project accountants to resolve issues
  • Prepare internal documentation of daily cash receipts
  • Daily tracking of the Accounts Receivable Email Inbox and resolve issues timely
  • Record cash receipt corrections as needed
  • Record accounts receivable write-offs as needed
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to receivables including verifying all cash receipts have been recorded
  • Monitor joint venture bank accounts for cash receipts. Work with project accountants to obtain breakdown of cash receipts for each joint venture partner. Set up wire payments to disperse the funds to each joint venture partner
  • Support execution of annual audits via obtaining requested cash receipts & accounts receivable supporting documentation
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned
  • Support a culture of continual improvement
  • Learn Accounts Payable duties and serve as an accounts payable backup as necessary




  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with accounts receivable or general accounting
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Desire to learn
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience in A/E industry preferred but not required
  • Experience with Deltek VantagePoint preferred but not required
