We are pleased to announce an opening for an Senior Missile Defense Systems Engineer who will join our Engineering Services Team in Tel Aviv, Israel and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control marketspaces. Qualified candidates will be part of an exceptional team supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight. As part of this mission, the candidate will support the U.S.-Israeli Cooperative Program Office (MDA/TBI), participating in the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation efforts for the Israeli Missile Defense Systems.

Responsibilities:

Qualified candidates will provide technical expertise in support of the MDA U.S.-Israeli Cooperative Program Office Tel Aviv Annex located at the U.S. Embassy Branch Office, Tel Aviv, Israel. Candidates will be the Tel Aviv Annex On-site Technical Representative (OTR), serving as the principal MDA/TBI technical representative in Israel. The OTR reports to the MDA/TBI Chief Engineer regarding interactions with the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) and Israeli contractors in support of Iron Dome Defense System (IDDS), the David’s Sling Weapon System (DSWS), and the Arrow Weapon System (AWS) co-development and/or co-production activities. The OTR provides technical subject matter expertise, summarization of events, and support of the Israeli missile defense mission, tasks, and objectives.

Duties include:

  • Provide engineering and technical support to the MDA/TBI Product Offices
  • Review Israeli data and documentation and provide analyses and recommendations
  • Participate and provide technical support for U.S.-Israeli missile defense technical interchange meetings, working groups, and reviews
  • Provide technical support for Israeli missile defense components and system tests.

Basic Qualifications:

At a minimum, qualified candidates must:

  • Be able to work onsite at the MDA U.S.-Israeli Cooperative Program Office, located at the U.S. Embassy Branch Office, Tel Aviv, Israel.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or computer science.
  • Have at least 12 years of full-time professional experience in a technical field related to missile defense and/or technical analysis of complex Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems.
  • Be eligible to obtain or have an active SECRET clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in STEM field
  • At least 12 years of full-time professional experience (or absent a technical Master's degree, at least 20 years of experience is preferred)
  • Knowledge of Israeli missile defense systems and components
  • Background with the Missile Defense Agency and/or other large scale DoD systems-of-systems
  • Works independently and/or leads sub-teams, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and MS Office automation tool proficiency.
