Catalyst Data Analyst
Housed within the Department of Medicine Center for Research on Health Care, CONVERGE is a multidisciplinary, collaborative research center focused on advancing sexual and reproductive health equity through innovative research, policy analysis, and community partnerships. CONVERGE is hiring a Data Scientist for its PA Catalyst research initiative. This new initiative focuses on improving sexual and reproductive health care access in Pennsylvania. This project brings together a multidisciplinary team to address barriers, promote equity, and advance innovative solutions for sexual and reproductive health across the state. Candidates should have completed a master's degree in a behavioral science or related discipline (e.g., psychology, sociology, public health, epidemiology etc.).
The data analyst will conduct all quantitative analysis (survey data and claims data) and for messaging experiments.
Oversees analytical teams in the extraction, aggregation, and quality assurance of data from multiple clinical data depositories in support of clinical research and departmental projects. Collaborates across business units, coordinates all aspects of research data collection and project oversight, and manages design and implementation of project analysis plan. Prepares documents for peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and sections of grant applications.
Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.
Position is mostly sedentary work.
