Catalyst Project Manager
Housed within the Department of Medicine Center for Research on Health Care, CONVERGE is a multidisciplinary, collaborative research center focused on advancing sexual and reproductive health equity through innovative research, policy analysis, and community partnerships. CONVERGE is hiring a Senior Research Scientist for its Catalyst research initiative. This new initiative focuses on improving sexual and reproductive health care access in Pennsylvania. This project brings together a multidisciplinary team to address barriers, promote equity, and advance innovative solutions for sexual and reproductive health across the state. Bachelor's Degree required, PhD is preferred in a behavioral science discipline or related discipline (e.g., psychology, sociology, public health, epidemiology etc.) with domain expertise.
The Project Manager will oversee a large policy and communications research initiative along with senior investigators. The Project Manager will support the design and implementation of the project, including supervising staff, distributing and reviewing work, and coordinating data collection, implementation, and dissemination activities.
Supports the design and implementation of various research, intervention, and educational development and evaluation projects. Facilitates project communications and implementation activities and monitors projects for quality and accuracy. Coordinates and manages data collections and assessments and leads grant proposal initiatives. Develops research strategies, proposals, and reports.
Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.
Position is mostly sedentary work.
