Career Opportunity: Director of Program Management- Reports to VP of Customer Management

Job Location: This position has an on-site work requirement daily at one of our manufacturing locations in the US. Candidate must be within a commutable distance and have the ability to travel up to 50% to other site locations and customers. Relocation Assistance could be provided.

At Spartronics, the Director of Program Management is responsible for optimizing the program management team, systems, and processes across the sites through driving KPl's and forward-thinking strategic initiatives. They will build and lead highly effective teams and have responsibility for both long term and day to day operations of the program management function. They will serve on the Functional Program Management Leadership team providing significant contribution to the strategic direction and standardization of the program management function across Spartronics. They will take a lead role in building positive relationships with both internal and external customers. This position reports to the VP of Customer Management and provides leadership to local program management resources across the company.


What a Day Looks Like:

  • Build strong program management talent within the company sites through influential leadership and functional development
  • Inspire enthusiasm and participation in the continuous improvement drive for Program Management across the company
  • Lead strategic initiatives for program management across Spartronics
  • Align processes with best practices across Spartronics
  • Accountable for project deliverables; secure and allocate appropriate resources to meet company goals and achieve financial objectives
  • Applies knowledge of global contract manufacturing industry to anticipate both customer needs and adapting to a changing global landscape.
  • Identifies functional gaps in processes, capabilities or resources within the company.
  • Support the implementation of new tools and process which streamline and improve the PM function
  • Partner with Site Leaders, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Production Control to ensure priorities, issues and actions are resolved in a timely manner
  • Support and guide Voice of the Customer Internal Reviews, ensuring understanding and action regarding customer satisfaction and supplier scorecard/ratings
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university in a related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience. (Degree in Engineering, Finance/ Accounting, or Business Management desired). MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of Contract EMS industry experience in a multi-location environment with experience in high mix / low volume customer programs.
  • 10+ years of senior level progressive leadership of a professional staff, or equivalent experience leading teams or work groups
  • Extensive and proven successful customer service experience.
  • Experience in New Product Introductions (NPI) and Product Transfers
  • Experience in financial systems and the program drivers within the manufacturing environment
  • Experience in applying Lean principles to Transactional processes. (Business process reengineering).
  • Ability to support 50% travel domestically and customer locations
  • Due to this position requiring the employee to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance, we can only accept candidates who are US Citizens.

Compensation

This position offers a salary of $150,000 - $175,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, education, years of relevant experience EMS Industry experience, and specific expertise in the electronics manufacturing industry. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus targeted at 30%, which is aligned with company and individual performance.
