Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. The position plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs. This position will supervise our maintenance department and up to ten (10) maintenance technicians / electricians. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool.

• Managing the upkeep and equipment to meet health and safety standards
• Plan and coordinate repairs should malfunctions occur
• Observe and monitor the optimal deployment of labor, material and time
• Plan and coordinate the preventative maintenance of all equipment
• Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
• Supervise all maintenance technicians and external contractors
• Evaluate employee through performance review, ongoing coaching and feedback methods
• Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of West Bend facility

• Good knowledge of safety standards and machine guarding
• Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
• Working experience with PM programs, scheduling and maintaining sub-contractors as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing management or facility management
• Bachelor degree in business preferred but not required
