What You Will Do
The Staff Nurse II plays a vital role in supporting student health and wellness through direct patient care, clinical support to providers, immunization compliance, health education, and mentoring of nursing students in a collaborative, student-centered clinic environment.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
-Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation.
-One year of nursing experience comparable to that gained as a Staff Nurse I.
Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
-One to three years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory setting.
-Current CardioPulmonary Resuscitation/Automatic Electronic Defibrillation certification.
-Current Blood Borne Pathogen training.

Illinois Residency Requirement: Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position.
