Summary:Â The Sr. Key Account Manager will drive profitable business growth across all Petmate product segments within the US market. This role involves strategic business planning, managing the sales pipeline, negotiating, and closing deals within that sales channel.
Key Responsibilities
Â
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Build and maintain strong relationships to drive sales growth, understand business needs, and exceed targets.
- Collaborate with channel, and marketing teams to align pricing, promotions, and sales strategies with company goals.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and negotiate contracts while identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline, monitor key metrics, and assess performance against established targets.
- Oversee dealer and distributor programs and support strategic initiatives to optimize channel performance.
- Gather and analyze market, competitor, and customer data to inform sales, product, and marketing strategies.
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and training seminars to promote products and strengthen customer relationships.
- Proactively address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Effectively manage responsibilities and maintain productivity while working remotely.
- Manage and track the performance of the outside sales rep team, setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and/or 6-8 years of relevant experience in CPG, or related pet industry experience.

- Experience in managing sales budgets and accurately forecasting revenue.

- Detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and pivot strategies when needed.
- Experience in setting KPI’s, tracking performance, and implementing improvement plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Teams and Excel.
Travel Requirement
- Travel throughout the USA as required.
