Post Doctoral Associate
Med-Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (25003362)

A full-time Postdoctoral Associate research position is available in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. The Post Doctoral Associate will undertake a variety of research activities, including analyzing, collecting, and extracting relevant data, evaluating new research tools as they become available, ensuring the integrity of research data, and interpreting data. Expectations include but are not limited to participating in research projects within the lab, keeping abreast of new research advances, identifying new research questions arising from or related to current studies, formulating strategies for questions, and developing new techniques, technologies, and analytic processes. They will prepare abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for local, national, and international conferences and meetings. They will write manuscripts for research journals and undertake any other assignments that Dr. Van Tyne, as the principal investigator, may request.

Candidates must have an MD and/or PhD degree in Biochemistry or another Biomedical science field.
