The Department of Political Science at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor.

The duties are as follows:

  • Teach six undergraduate Political Science courses per year, including introductory, upper-level, and capstone (senior) courses with a focus on Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Research Methods.
  • Support the Departmental curriculum, communications, and programming, including outside-the-classroom learning. Perform service that contributes to the department's mission.

Position requires the following: A Ph.D. in Political Science and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching as demonstrated by teaching evaluations.
