Job Description Summary:
The Program Assistant provides support to the EMBA Program Team. The EMBA Program Assistant will be a member of a team that manages the Villanova Executive MBA, a 19-month graduate business program for talented business leaders seeking to further develop their leadership skills. This role offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain professional experience and develop new skills. You will participate in a range of projects in support of our Executive MBA program.
A sample of job responsibilities is as follows:
Support the onsite logistics of class sessions and special events, with duties such as welcoming guests, organizing and distributing materials, and responding to customer service requests from executive students.
Operate our classroom technology, including support for screen sharing, annotation, and zoom features in a classroom setting involving several computers and displays (training will be provided).
Event support, including event set-up and break-down
Take photos at EMBA events for inclusion in social media posts, and drafting of social media posts
Produce a range of documents, spreadsheets, and slides in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). For example, the program assistant may transfer and reorganize qualitative and quantitative survey data from Excel into PowerPoint.
Conduct research into new trends in executive education and leadership development.
Edit communications and documents.
Other duties as assigned in a professional office environment.
Requirements:
We are looking for undergraduate students with the following professional skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new platforms, such as Qualtrics (for surveys) and Canva (for graphic design)
Comfort with technology, including proficiency with Zoom.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Strong customer service mindset.
Dependable, punctual, proactive, flexible, and professional.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with executive students, faculty, and staff.
