Job Summary
This person provides important services to students and key administrators, allowing the College to function smoothly and efficiently. This individual helps set the public image both internally and externally of the College.

The position provides senior-level, confidential support to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Associate Dean and Director of Career Development, and the Assistant Dean of Student Services. The main focus of UK RCoL administration, faculty, and staff is to continue RCoL’s rich history of providing a robust academic experience, inside and outside the classroom, and substantial engagement opportunities with the legal profession, that positions RCoL students to graduate, pass the bar exam, obtain employment, and have the foundation for a successful career in the legal profession. This person will:
  • assist the Career Development Office with the online system for job postings and announcements
  • interact with internal and external constituents
  • arrange appointments and meetings
  • handle correspondence
  • maintain records

This person will provide high-level assistance with the coordination and administration of student engagement programs and events. This includes, but not limited to:
  • First Year Orientation
  • Commencement
  • Job Fairs
  • fall and spring Campus Interviews
  • Seminars, Symposia and Workshops
  • Course Registration
  • assist with law student organization guest speakers and other programs

This position may require some evening and weekend hours and may be asked to assist with college-wide endeavors.

The position will coordinate and manage travel for the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Dean and Director of Career Development and the Assistant Dean of Student Services; may serve as a delegate for the deans/director in Concur; work with Finance Coordinator on financial matters including but not limited to tracking of department expenses/budget, paying bills, etc.

This person will model and promote excellent customer service for internal and external colleagues and students.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Office; and Computer & Database Experience.
