Job Summary
The Director of Field Experiences in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky has the primary responsibility for fulfilling the mission, vision, and core beliefs of the university and the programs that it supports. The Director will support educator preparation programs at the University of Kentucky and additional programs in the College of Education with field, clinical, apprenticeship, and/or internship components.

Responsibilities include:
  • serving as coordinator for the University Supervisors
  • providing oversight and management for the Office of Field Experiences
  • working with professional staff and faculty to enhance the college’s outreach to schools and community organizations through field, clinical, and internship experiences in the community, state, and overseas

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Excellent networking and communication skills; the ability to develop key relationships with local schools and community organizations; the ability to supervise and support staff, students, and faculty

Masters degree and background in an appropriate discipline/field (e.g., education or related field).
