Job Summary
The Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology seeks a Scientist II to be involved in the study of molecular mechanisms in prostate cancer initiation, progression, metastasis, and acquisition of therapy resistance. The ideal candidate will plan, perform, write up and present experiments. Responsibilities also include data management, coordinating with multiple researchers in the lab; helping to train and oversee new lab members, help with general lab upkeep and maintenance and helping the PI in the production of manuscripts and grant related documents including both writing and editing.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Microsoft Office Suite, Proficiency in molecular biology and cell culture techniques. Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, GraphPad capabilities in written & oral communication, technical writing, use of graphic & statistical software; attention to detail.

Doctoral degree, prior research experience in cellular biology is preferred.
