Job Description

ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. 711 HPW is the first human-centric warfare wing to consolidate human performance research, education, and consultation under a single organization. This position will support the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) by aiding in the development of a web-based application suite focused on predictive analytics and data visualization.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the development and deployment of a web application supporting advanced predictive analytics, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to build robust tools and interfaces. He/She/They will be responsible for designing backend and frontend components, implementing visualization strategies for complex data structures, and ensuring compliance with data security protocols. Additional responsibilities include:

• Aid in the full-stack development of a predictive analytics web application
• Independently write, demonstrate, and explain code functionality for front- and back-end components
• Develop data visualizations and interfaces for hierarchical data structures
• Collaborate with AI and data science teams to integrate interactive dashboards
• Ensure application and data management processes meet HIPAA standards
• Complete HIPAA training and maintain compliance for all secure data handling
• Provide clean, well-documented, and version-controlled code (Git) following Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in Python
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in JavaScript
• Experience with the Scrum process and Agile development practices
• Proficient in Git version control
• Experience working in UNIX environments
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly OSI model layers 3 and 4
• US Citizenship required

Highly Desired Skills

• Experience collaborating with data scientists to build AI-interactive dashboards
• Experience with Python's Flask web framework and SQL Alchemy ORM
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
• Web application development experience, including UI/UX design principles
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
