Essential Functions – Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability – with or without reasonable accommodations to perform the following duties.

General Duties:

• Maintains Employee Lunchroom clean and in good sanitary condition.
• Sustain restrooms clean and free of debris and in excellent sanitary conditions.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse and factory in superior sanitary conditions and maintaining a sanitary environment for all employees.
• Protects company against rodent and insect infestation to ensure good safe quality products.
• Provides support and assistance to other janitors as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by dept supervisor.

Secondary Duties:

• Responsible for completing work reports at the completion of each assignment.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to 9 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This job requires basic understanding and terminology of a manufacturing environment.

Language Skills: ABILITY to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read routine reports and correspondence and comprehend basic English.

REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to interact with all levels of management and can apply common sense to understanding and conduct detailed written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to resolve and deal with simple to complex problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations within the production processing operation.
