Job Summary

Infinity Technology Services, LLC (ITS) is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (DfE) Support Specialist to support a confidential contract in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deploy Defender for Endpoint (DfE) agents to a minimum threshold of Microsoft-supported endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune or Active Directory (AD) Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Identify target endpoint machines, operating system versions, and appropriate deployment methods
  • Create DfE deployment scripts, including removal of legacy endpoint detection and response (EDR) or antivirus solutions
  • Establish support infrastructure to facilitate mass deployment (e.g., storage accounts, authorization configurations)
  • Test DfE deployment scripts to ensure proper functionality
  • Deploy DfE agents to identified machines, achieving the scoped threshold (percentage) of targeted endpoints
  • Verify onboarding and reporting functionality
  • Validate configuration settings to ensure alignment with Microsoft best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 year of experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint deployment or similar EDR solutions

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirement:

  • No security clearance required, must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NAC)

Salary Note:
