JOB TITLE: PART-TIME MAIL / HR CLERK

Non-Exempt Position

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Manager

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

BASIC FUNCTION:

Provide efficient and accurate handling of our incoming and outgoing mail. Keep stock of mailroom and office supplies.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Post all outgoing mail.

  • Sort incoming mail & distribute in mail boxes—including bin for Elizabethtown.

  • Send mail to salesman once per week.

  • Backup Receptionist.

  • Responsible for calling for maintenance for mailroom copier.

  • Responsible for maintaining postage machine and postage meter.

  • Responsible for ordering and restocking the supply closet and kitchenette.

  • Assist HR with assigned tasks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or acceptable equivalent.

  • Basic computer knowledge, postage machine operation, copy machine and fax machine operation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift 20-25 lb.

  • Must be able to sit for long periods.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

  • Demonstrate a positive and business-like attitude.

  • Conduct all interaction with customers, representatives, co-workers and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous and respectful manner.
