Position Highlights:
$85,590-$119,980 DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

What You’ll Do::
- Design, architect, deliver, and support ITSM-related solutions, including system integrations, interfaces, data conversions, and other technical components, to meet the organization's needs and industry best practices.
- Lead and manage multiple competing projects simultaneously, defining, delegating, and facilitating deliverables as needed.
- Work with IS Leadership, other engineers, and senior business stakeholders to distill complex technical issues into easily understood language, highlighting impact to strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain ITSM strategies and roadmaps to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices while proactively offering solutions.
- Assists department managers to identify organizational skill gaps and advise the managers on ways to bridge those skill gaps.
- Perform as the internal advisor to the analysts and IS Leadership teams for advanced and complex integration and support issues.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to conduct in-depth research into issues and build methodologies, proposals, and solutions as required.
- Continuous learner, especially in emerging technologies.
- Observes end users and utilizes knowledge of workflow to make recommendations for system innovations and improvements.
- Works with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to understand their needs. Gathers system requirements from stakeholders and makes modifications to the system as appropriate.
- Evaluates the need for hardware and software upgrades, modifications, and repairs. Performs advanced testing to troubleshoot new and existing equipment. Ensures compatibility and operability with existing systems.
- Performs technological feasibility studies and project planning for project-level efforts for enterprise application implementations or enhancements. Performs cost-benefit analysis, documents project scopes, and designs implementation plans.
- Assist in developing metrics to measure the success of projects and solutions that are developed and delivered.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert for the ITSM and related applications and provides consultation and information to decision makers regarding enterprise and other integrated systems.
- Provides consultation and support to end users regarding advanced technical issues.
- Assist IS Managers to manage and/or negotiate application vendor contracts and license agreements. Holds external vendors accountable to meet contractual obligations to YVFWC, provide prompt responses, and fix any problems or emergencies as needed.
- Works with the IS Security team to ensure all company policies concerning HIPAA and general system security are adequately represented, reflected and enforced for the systems they are responsible for.
- May require periodic travel by automobile to various YVFWC sites located across our service regions (Washington and Oregon) to engage with business partners and provide IS support as needed.
- Ability to map and track system/application capabilities to identify what is available in the YVFWC portfolio.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications::
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or Management. Associate Degree and two years' experience in Information Systems may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree. High School Diploma or GED and four years' experience in Information Systems in a Healthcare setting may be substituted for the for Bachelor’s Degree.
- Three years of progressive experience in a healthcare IT setting and/or technical environment supporting ITSM applications and working with end users.
- Clinical certifications, licenses, or credentials may be required. Certifications related to enterprise applications, ( ITIL ) Information Technology Infrastructure Library or similar preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles Proficiency in ITSM tool, including experience implementing and managing Knowledge of system security concepts, including provisioning and access management governance. Ability to lead group discussions and guide them to make key decisions. Experience providing executive summaries to IS, Operational, and Administrative leadership, both written and verbal. Proven success leading and supporting advanced system integrations and/or major build projects. Knowledge of hardware, software, and peripheral equipment and troubleshooting techniques, including root cause analysis. Ability to assess various equipment and procedures and make recommendations for improvements. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Ability to document business processes and procedures. Ability to design, build, and execute comprehensive workflow-based test plans and scripts. Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects/efforts in a high-pressure environment requiring minimal supervision. Proven ability to build strong relationships with organizational stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex data and communicate observations in a simplified manner. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and assist in staff development.
