Research Compliance Specialist I
Assists to serve as regulatory liaison for all clinical sites, coordinating centers, and data management centers and assists with grant approval reviews and regulatory reviews. Coordinates investigator training sessions, assists with compliance investigations, maintains databases, and collaboratively assists with developing approval guidelines to ensure institutional compliance with all regulations, policies, and applicable regulations.
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking a Research Compliance Specialist I. This position involves research regulatory responsibilities.
The candidate will be responsible for working with study team members to complete IRB submissions (study startup, modifications, continuing reviews, required reporting) and maintaining the regulatory documents in an organized fashion. The position will also involve collaborating with external sites to obtain regulatory approvals and maintain regulatory files for multi-site consortium studies.
The Minimum education to be considered for this position is a Bachelor of Science in related field.
