What You Will Do
The Admissions and Records Representative performs day-to-day operations in the Office of Admissions & Student Services on the School of Dental Medicine campus. Responsibilities include assisting with the student academic record keeping process, assisting students with requests for academic records, and supporting the admissions process. The Admissions and Records Representative serves as the primary admissions contact for the International Advanced Placement Program. Accordingly, he/she interacts with International Students and applicants, faculty, and staff and assist in operating and maintaining the International Advanced Placement Program admissions office policies and procedures. This position provides counseling and advisement on IAPP admissions requirements for current and prospective IAPP applicants, assisting with all aspects of the app cycle. Assists the director with the use and functions of the specialized online admissions management software platform (WebAdmit CAAPID). Compiles and submits external and internal statistical admissions reports subject to administrative approval. Prepares and composes recruitment materials as per instruction.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Any one or combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the categories below:
course work in any discipline as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
60 semester hours or an Associate's Degree equals eighteen months (18 months)
90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months) - Work experience in administrative support, admissions and enrollment, customer service, public relations, records management, or closely related experience.
