The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurological Surgery, is hiring for a Research Professor in the appointment stream.
This appointment includes research assistance in the development and further investigation of the role of oxidative stress in AD, PD, and ALS, and apoptosis. Assisting with the submission of R2 I/Ro I grant on oxidative stress in ALS. Further investigation of using imaging modalities for iron and glutathione interplay in ALS and apoptosis-related research.
This position will help steward scientific endeavors through research, mentor a team of trainees and scientists, as well as aid in the preparation of grants and research manuscripts.
Minimum education to be considered for this position is a PhD in a related field.
