Description:

Molding Incentive III
Grade - 3

The Molding Incentive III located in Wolcott, IN reports to our Operations Manager and is responsible for performing assigned varied routine assembly activities from written specifications, special instructions and/or sample control or other product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Performing simple adjustments on automated equipment tools, fixtures, air drivers as needed.
  • Applying labels to parts.
  • Make components and related items per work instructions and procedures by hand or with hand tools.
  • Delivering completed assemblies on time and maintaining a steady flow of work; ensuring product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions and procedures, rotating between operations on the assembly line.
  • Checking for defects in parts.

Requirements:

Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:

  • Requires ability to follow instructions or samples within two to three months to attain proficiency on a variety of sub and final assembly assignments.
  • Some dexterity is necessary as most parts are small and control assembly space in some instances is confined.

Physical/Mental Essential Functions:

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders
  • Ability to walk back and forward thought-out facility
  • Ability to control operation of hand or foot
  • Ability to lift / carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to use keyboard, sporadic 10 key
  • Ability to use mouse (or alternative input device)
  • Ability to push / pull
  • Ability to turn wrist frequently in repetitive motion
