Bestica is hiring a Molecular Biologist to provide services at Wright Patterson AFB located in Dayton, OH 45433.

Location: Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH 45433

Mandatory Requirements:

• Possess a Masters Degree in Biological Sciences, Public Health or similar field with 1-2 years of experience within a public health related field.
• Possess proficient with biology techniques (e.g. microscopy, cell culture, DNA/RNA prep, PCR and sequencing).
• Possess experience with Illumina and Oxford nanopore sequencing chemistries and library preparation protocols.
• Experience with environmental sampling including wastewater, soil, and air matrices.
• The Contractor must have a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place with their company, and the company must provide a copy to the Program Manager of this task order. This is necessary in order to mitigate transfer of any confidential, proprietary and/or sensitive information while in this position.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Possess 2 years of experience in a laboratory.
