Starting annual salary $55,000

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for provision of a range of case management, support services to children and families, or community programs, in coordination with other agency and community services and documentation of services as required by program policies and funding sources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides administrative supervision to staff and interns.
  2. Provide oversight to QPC drivers and per diem team members.
  3. Responsible for the creation and oversight of QPC schedule.
  4. Will oversee assignment of QPC referrals.
  5. Responsible for provision of QPC services as needed.
  6. Assist with orientation, evaluation, and support/monitoring of staff development.
  7. Works as a team member with other program staff to respond to client and programmatic needs, including the implementation of agency policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  8. Partners with other program staff to identify and develop approaches to address clients’ unmet needs or service gaps.
  9. Contributes to program functioning by assuming responsibility for special tasks or leadership in special projects as appropriate.
  10. Assist Program Manager with interviewing and hiring new program staff in addition to training the team in Visit Coaching Model.
  11. Provision of Service in the office, host setting or community settings, to meet the unique needs of families served.
  12. Accurate and timely completion of documentation and reports, and any other documentation and reports required by agency and program policies and funding sources.
  13. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with other community agencies and organizations in consultation with supervisor, in order to provide comprehensive and effective treatment services for clients (i.e. schools, courts, hospitals, etc.).
  14. Works as a team member with other programs and administrative staff to respond to client and programmatic needs.
  15. Knowledge and implementation of agency policies and procedures.
  16. Partners with supervisor to identify areas and develop plans for professional growth.
  17. Contributes to agency organizational life by participating in agency wide task forces, committees or problem solving teams as appropriate.
  18. Contributes to agency visibility and development of community linkages by representing the Village in community groups or committees, as assigned by program director.
  19. Other duties or responsibilities as determined by management.

Experience and Skills

EDUCATION

  • MSW/MA from an accredited program or a BA with 5+ years of experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent oral and written skills and ability to communicate comfortably with children, parents, and school personnel.
  • Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task.
  • Cultural competency to serve targeted populations.
  • Bilingual skills may be required.
  • Experience working with inner-city children.
  • Commitment to Results/Performance Based Accountability.
  • May be required to maintain valid driver’s license and ability to drive or otherwise obtain transportation to provide services throughout the service area.
  • Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications. Possess solid general computer skills, including ability to work in a Windows XP environment. Familiarity with specific applications used by the Village a plus.
